6 Pillar Rose Arch

This substantial rose walkway, built with 12 timber pillars and six arches, was designed to guide movement through the garden and create distinct zones within the space. As the climbing roses mature, it will develop into a magnificent living feature filled with colour and fragrance.

Timber Vertical Structure

This three-post timber feature was designed to break up a vast open garden, creating defined zones, interest and character while preserving the surrounding views and natural light. The staggered posts were securely set into the ground, forming a simple architectural feature without making the space feel enclosed.

Timber Sleeper Retaining Wall

This multi-level timber retaining wall was designed to provide essential structural support while also becoming a strong feature within the garden. Its natural timber complements the wider landscaping materials, creating a warm and balanced contrast with the surrounding stonework and bringing the different levels together as one cohesive design.

Stone Boulder Retaining Wall

This substantial boulder retaining wall was constructed using individual stones weighing more than 100kg, each carefully positioned and secured into place. The wall was backfilled with rich soil and well-rotted manure before being generously planted with roses, creating a strong structural feature that will soften beautifully with colour and fragrance as it matures.
